Louis Staino, Sr.

Louis A. “Lou” Staino, Sr., 87, of Broomall, PA, passed away on May 5, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1932, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Mary (nee Leonetti) Staino.

Lou served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He  worked as a sheet metal worker for Sheet Metal Workers’ Local Union No. 19.  He was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed the Philadelphia Mummers String Bands.

Lou was the beloved husband of Carolyn H. (nee Mieder) Staino; loving father of Nannette D'Imperio (Ray), Mariaelena Pastuszek (Bob), Louis Staino, Jr.(Dot), Jeanmarie Staino, John Walton, (the late Carol), Ronald Walton (Cindy), Michael Walton, Susan Cant (Steven), and Amy Dunfee (John); caring grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; predeceased by his siblings, Carmen Staino and Philomena DeStefano.

Services and interment will be held privately.
