Loretta Connors

Loretta Frances Connors, age 81, of West Chester, PA, passed away on March 30, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1945, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert F. and Sylvia R. (nee Rosen) Connors. Loretta was a 1962 Graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School, went immediately to work for the DOD as a clerk-stenographer ending her career as the sole Senior Packaging Specialist in DLA Troop Support Medical Chain, retiring after 51 years and receiving many awards and accolades. She loved every minute of her job, especially her co-workers and supporting our troops.

Loretta loved Philly and worked Saturday mornings for many years at the Convention and Visitors Center. She also served as a Volunteer and former board member of what is now the Hall-Mercer Community Mental Health Center in Philadelphia.

Her family meant everything to her. She was the loving sister of Helen L. Seiss (Chris), Thomas J. Connors, his late wife Rita Darragh Connors and the late Mary T. Ambro; caring aunt of Kristen Connors (JaCee), Kelly Connors Ferrante (Adam), Charles Ambro, and Kasey Connors and great-aunt of Brandon Branch and Julian Ferrante.

Services and interment are private. A celebration of her life is planned for the near future.
