Loretta A. Ford, age 88, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on Saturday April 27th, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (nee Butler) and John J. Germscheid. She was a Graduate of West Catholic Girls High school in 1953 and also went by the nickname “Ret”.
Loretta was the beloved wife of the late Vincent D. Ford; Loving mother of Denise DeLuca (Richard), Loretta Sessa (Joe), Vince (Linda), Cathy Sherlock (The late Steven), Chrissie Lee (Sean), Kevin (Kelly), and Maryellen Brown; Devoted Grandmother of twenty-two and Great Grandmother of twenty. She is predeceased by her siblings John Germscheid, Jimmy Germscheid, Mary Brennan, Joe Germscheid, and Kathleen Ward.Relatives and Friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday May 1st from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Thursday May 2nd from 8:30 AM-10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her 11:00AM Funeral Mass at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment Private.
