Lois Patricia Demetriou

Lois Patricia Demetriou (nee Reynolds), age 86, of Broomall, PA, passed away on October 7, 2026. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marion Mitchell (nee Nelson).

Lois moved through life with warmth, color, and an unmistakable spirit that drew people to her. She was a hairdresser by profession, a role well suited to her love of people and her gift for conversation, connection, and making others feel seen. She brought to her work the same bright energy that marked her life so memorably.

Lois was known for her positive attitude and for a laugh that came easily and invited others to join in. She was, in every sense, the life of the party, bringing joy wherever she went. She loved people deeply, and at the center of that love was her devotion to her children and family. Time with those she cherished most was among the great treasures of her life.

She also found happiness in simple pleasures that reflected her vibrant nature. She loved the beach—any beach—and delighted in the beauty of jewel tone colors, which suited her vivid and spirited presence. These loves, like her laughter and generosity of heart, painted the portrait of a woman who embraced life fully and shared that joy freely with others.

Lois was the beloved wife of the late Deane Demetriou; loving mother of Therese Martin (Don), Michele Salerno (Stephen), Louis Albanese, III (Dawn); adoring “Mom mom” of Danny Robinson, Nicole Vining, Stephen Salerno, Briana Salerno, Daniele Salerno, Vincent Albanese, and Anthony Albanese; caring sister of the late William Reynolds. Also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to her Visitation from 9:30-11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 14th at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave, Morton, PA 19070, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
