Lindsey M. Shalles

Lindsey M. Shalles, age 26, passed on January 27, 2024, after battling addiction and mental illness throughout her life.

Lindsey was a headstrong, funny, beautiful, smart, and talented girl when she wasn’t using drugs.  She loved art and writing. Lindsey also loved working with children.  When she was little, she was a daredevil, often getting into mischief. We will deeply miss her beautiful smile and loving heart.

Lindsey was the daughter of the late John Shalles and Debra Shalles (Lexie).  She is survived by her sisters, Jennifer Urgino (Gani), Julianne Shalles, Kelley Shields, and Sarah Shalles, and her brothers, David Shields and Michael Shields, and three nephews.  

Lindsey was an organ donor and her last act was giving life to others, helping to save at least four people.

Services and interment will be private.
