Linda Kley Gilbuena

March 25, 1946 — December 31, 2025

Linda Gilbuena (nee Kley) passed away December 31 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Her husband Frank and son Kley were at her bedside. She resided in Bryn Mawr.

Linda was born in Biddeford, Maine in 1946, the daughter of Dr. Edward and Ruth Kley. She attended Mountain Lakes (NJ) High School and Endicott College. After career stops at a radio station in Atlantic City and at Doyle Dane Bernbach advertising agency she found employment at WPIX-TV in New York, where she met her future husband. The next career move was to KYW-TV in Philadelphia where she was the Assistant Production Manager for the Mike Douglas Show.

The birth of their son Kley meant temporary retirement. Her subsequent return to work found her at Waterloo Gardens and then Eastern University before her retirement. She remained active within the St. David’s Church family. Throughout her life she was an avid quilter, frequently enjoyed puzzle solving and loved listening to classical music. She also had a fondness for travel, taking several trips to Williamsburg, Virginia and Maine, as well as a whirlwind excursion in Europe.

Husband, son and daughter-in-law survive her, as well as countless friends. A service is to be at St. David’s Church in Wayne on Wednesday, January 7th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. David’s, the Seeing Eye, Public Broadcasting or a favorite charity in her name.
