Leo S. O'Hara, 82, of Hershey's Mill, West Chester, PA, passed away on June 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
Leo grew up in England during WWII and lost both of his parents when he was very young.
He became an electrician, then put himself through night-school to become an electrical engineer.
In 1965, he moved his wife and two boys to the US.
He toured the US for a few years before settling in eastern PA in 1967.
Leo has a tremendous sense of humor.
He loved to travel, and lived for all his grandkids.
He was a very strong influence in all their lives.
He was the beloved husband of Lois Forsyth O'Hara; loving father of Kevin James (Samantha) and Dr. Julie Ann (Christopher Pappas) O'Hara and Scott, Thomas (Barbara), and James (Nicole) Forsyth; adoring grandfather of Christopher (Courtney), Brendan, Kelly, and Stephen O'Hara, Kristen and Taylor Marino, and Cassidy, Collin, Corey, Carson, Ruby, Perry, Preston, Elizabeth, and Laura Forsyth, and Cali Wallace; dear great-grandfather of Natalie, Emma, and Lena O'Hara; predeceased by his parents, Leo S. and Catherine (Harman) O'Hara and his sons, Stephen Leo and Alan Peter O'Hara.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 6-8 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA 19380.
Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380, would be appreciated.
