Lee Ann Schlosser

May 3, 1960 — October 6, 2025

With her family by her side, Lee Ann Schlosser, 65, of Morton, departed this life on October 6, 2025. She filled many roles, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, stepmom and perhaps her favorite “Grand Lee”. In each she gave her love freely and without hesitation.

Born on May 3, 1960, in Philadelphia, Lee was the first-born child of Margaret M. Biddle and the late Donald F. Schlosser. A lifelong resident of Delaware County, she built her life close to where it began never living more than two miles from her childhood home in Glenolden.

Lee attended Our Lady of Fatima grade school in Secane, graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School in 1978, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania in 1982.

Recently retired, Lee spent most of her career at Liberty Property Trust, formerly Rouse & Associates, where she made lifelong friends and was known for her no-nonsense focus and ability to dive into any project she took on.

Outside of work, Lee’s life was filled with the things she loved most — her friends and family, the arts in Philadelphia and time spent on beaches near and far. Lee loved Broadway musicals, but closest to her heart was the Philadelphia Ballet, always taking a friend or family member to share her box at the Academy of Music for over thirty years.

Lee cheered passionately for the Phillies and found her greatest peace during sunset cocktail time at the shore — whether in Ventnor, Cape May, or Clearwater Beach, where for many years she attended Spring Training games. At home, she was never without the company of a sweet cat, who brought her daily comfort and joy.

In 2024 she joined her sister Gail, her mom, a niece and a cousin as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, having a Patriot ancestor who served with the Salem County New Jersey militia in the Revolutionary War.

Lee is survived by her mother, Peggy, her loving siblings, Gail A. Cooper (Stephen), Robert T. Schlosser (Thora), and Paul T. Schlosser (Kathy); and adored nieces and nephews, Allison Cooper, Kimberly Schmidt (Jay), and Matthew (Maria), Jessica, Ryan, Elizabeth and Jackson Schlosser. She is also survived by her treasured stepchildren, Lea Ruggiero (Mike) and Jessica Murtaugh; and her precious step-grandchildren, Zoe, D.J., and Brianna Hanson, and Ellie and Marley Ruggiero, and her darling cat, Ashes. She was preceded in death by her father Don, partner, Robert J. Murtaugh, and dearly loved nephew, PT Schlosser.

Her constant love and support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
