Laurie F. Pewdo

Laurie F. Pewdo, age 66, passed away March 20, 2026. Beloved daughter of the late John and Ruth (Nee Kilvington) Sykes.

Laurie is survived by her children Matthew Halpin (Stephanie), Lauren Walker (Levi), and James Pewdo; Grandchildren, Joseph, Connor, and Samantha; Siblings, John Sykes (Patricia), Barry Sykes, and Joy Frosch (Paul). She was predeceased by her loving husband, James G. Pewdo.

Laurie was a devoted Mom and cherished Mom-Mom, whose love and warmth touched everyone she met. She had a passion for gardening and was especially famous for her homegrown tomatoes, which she shared generously with family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes was going to the beach with her children, making memories filled with laughter and joy. Laurie found beauty in everything around her. She had an infectious laugh and a radiant smile that could light up any room. Her kindness and generosity left a lasting impact on all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to Laurie’s visitation on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive, Secane, PA followed by the funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
