Laurence G. Esmonde, age 88, of Downingtown, PA, passed away on January 21, 2019.
He was the beloved husband of Constance (nee Felty) Esmonde; predeceased by his first wife, Dr. Margaret P. Esmonde; loving father of Joan Esmonde (Dominic J. Rossi), Marguerite Esmonde (Paul Welsh), Kathleen E. Hutchison, and Laurence G. Esmonde, Jr. (Catherine); dear brother of Patricia Esmonde; also survived by 12 grandchildren and son-in-law, Michael Hutchison.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 7-9 PM Thursday, January 24, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080 and to his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Friday at SS Philip & James Church, 107 N. Ship Rd, Exton, PA 19341. Interment St. Denis Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Margaret P. Esmonde Memorial Fund, Villanova University, 800 Lancaster Ave, Villanova, PA 19085, would be appreciated.
