Kenneth Dean Stock, 62, passed away on March 26, 2026, in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Kenneth was born on January 13, 1964, in Philadelphia PA, to Nancy Joan Stock and the late Alvin Lorenz Stock.
Early on during Ken’s elementary education a keen-eared music teacher noticed that Ken had a beautiful singing voice. This music teacher was instrumental in his introduction into the Philadelphia Boys Choir where he sang in multiple productions during his early grade school years. Also, during his grade school years he belonged to the Boy Scouts of USA where he enjoyed camping and the yearly Christmas Tree sale in Rose Valley PA.
Kenneth attended and graduated from Nether Providence High School in Wallingford PA. During high school Kenneth played the trumpet in multiple productions in the high school theater productions and in the Nether Providence High School Marching band.
He went on to study and graduate from Widener University in 1989 with a degree in Business and making the dean’s list. It was at Widener University where he nurtured his early interests in media and performance through his work on the Widener University radio station. He also went on to get a diploma in 2008 in Graphic Design and animation at The Chubb Institute. His work on Graphic Design was side work where he freelanced and continued to utilize his artistic experience and knowledge.
Kenneth’s professional journey reflected his love of storytelling and the performing arts. He began in broadcasting, interning at WMMR in Philadelphia, where he discovered his passion for media and made many lifelong friends and colleagues, He later worked in production at WNOE in New Orleans, further sharpening his technical skills and developing a deep appreciation for entertainment and communication.
But it was acting that captured Kenneth’s spirit most fully. A natural performer with a gift for expression, he threw himself into every opportunity—large or small—with enthusiasm and sincerity. Over the years, Kenneth appeared in many well-known films and TV shows. His first where he got his feet wet was in the final season of the series “Mad about You” were in the final scene he can be seen as the camera man. He went on to perform in American Horror Story (Season 2), The Green Mile, Jurassic World, Now You See Me, and others, His most notable and long-term acting gig was a recurring role as a beat cop in the series NCIS New Orleans. He embraced each role with dedication. Whether portraying dramatic characters or lending his unique sense of humor to lighter roles, he brought heart, authenticity, and remarkable presence to the stage and screen.
Kenneth was known for his willingness to support other performers, often volunteering behind the scenes, helping with sets, reading lines with fellow actors, or attending local shows simply to cheer on friends. He loved being part of creative communities and treasured the friendships he built along the way.
His desire to help others extended beyond the arts. Kenneth served as a Red Cross volunteer during and after Hurricane Katrina driving the food trucks to deliver food to people in the unreachable bayous in New Orleans. From that experience he was called on to manage and serve in the medical tents for many New Orleans Jazz Festivals, He always referred to himself as “Doc Stock” during this time and offered his time in many medical support settings, demonstrating a deep commitment to compassion and service.
In his personal life, he found joy in boating, music, cooking and the camaraderie of artistic and volunteer circles.
Kenneth is survived by his mother, Nancy Stock; his sister, Michelle Stock Ford; his brother‑in‑law, Robert J. Ford; his niece, Sydney N. Porreca; and his nephew, Timothy T. Porreca Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin L. Stock.
