Kay Ellen Lowe

July 6, 1960 — May 2, 2026

Kay Ellen Lowe, born July 6, 1960, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026. She will be remembered with great respect and fondness by all who had the privilege to know her.

Kay was a devoted supporter of her favorite sports teams, proudly cheering for the Dallas Cowboys (We Dem Boyz) and the Philadelphia Phillies throughout her life. Her enthusiasm for the game was contagious, and it brought joy to those around her.

Her love and dedication to her family were evident in everything she did. Endearingly known as Maamom and Grandma, Kay cherished her role as a matriarch and was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children Lyndsay Lowe and her husband Brian Page, Heather Lowe, Ashlee Batz and her husband Brian Batz, and Zackary Lowe. Her beloved grandchildren, Dakota, Amber, Marissa, and Makayla, were the light of her life and held a very special place in her heart.

Kay's professional life was marked by her warm spirit and friendly demeanor as a bartender in numerous Delaware County establishments. She served patrons at Stoney's, Danny's Corner Tavern, Timothys, the 10th Inning, and Gary's Den where she was well known and loved. Her presence behind the bar was more than just work—it was a place where connections were made and friendships forged.

In addition to her work, Kay enjoyed playing shufflebowl in bar leagues, a hobby that combined her love of socializing and friendly competition. Her participation in these leagues reflected her lively spirit and zest for life.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Dolores (nee Barrett) Sanford, and her sisters, Joyce and Cheryl. Their memories remain cherished by those she leaves behind.
