Kathryn B. “Kathy” Miller (nee Brosius), age 66, of West Chester, PA, passed away on December 10, 2021. Born in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marlin and Dorothy (Nee) Brosius of Mt. Carmel, Pa.
Following graduation from Mt. Carmel High School, she moved to Philadelphia and attended Drexel University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Foods. Later in life, she went back to school and received her Master’s degree from Immaculata University in Nutrition and Science. She spent her career working in the Medical field as a Registered Dietician (RD, LDN). She enjoyed her time working with the Devereux Foundation, but her favorite role was her most recent one at Belmont Behavioral Health System (Hospital) as a Clinical Dietitian. She was passionate about her work and loved working alongside her colleagues greatly.
Kathy looked forward to her weekly Saturday date nights with her beloved husband which were usually spent having dinner, listening to live music, and dancing. She loved the beach and enjoyed taking family vacations to Virginia Beach, N. Myrtle Beach, and trips to their second home in the Poconos. She was a lover of animals, but especially rescue dogs. Cooking also brought Kathy a lot of joy. She loved trying new recipes and making her favorite Ukrainian meals that she learned from her Baba. One of the greatest moments of her life was when she became a Baba herself; she loved her grandchildren dearly and referred to them as her “babies”.
Kathy was the beloved wife of Joseph Miller of 37 years; loving mother of Kristen A. Miller (Harry Stormes) and Andrew “AJ” Miller; caring grandmother of Jasper Stormes and August Stormes; devoted sister of Michelle Varano (Guido) of Kulpmont, Pa. and MaryAnn Karp (Chris) of Pensacola, Florida.
Although Kathy isn’t with us anymore, her kindness, strength, and energy will surround us always.
