Kathleen Mary Ryan

Kathleen Kearney Ryan (born December 13, 1933), of Villanova, PA, beloved daughter of Kathleen Kearney McGlone and Michael Kearney, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 26 at the age of 90.

Kathleen was born and raised in Philadelphia along with her four older brothers, James, Michael, John (Betty), and Rodger as well as her younger siblings, Peter McGlone (Carol), Mary Ann Keough (Hyme), and Eileen Bradley (Jack).

 Predeceased by her husband Edward Ryan, a proud union carpenter, Kathleen was a long-time resident of Collingdale. She was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School (class of ’51) and worked as the county Cashier in the Judicial Support Unit of Delaware County for 24 years.

 In retirement, Kathleen loved spending time with her family, all things Irish, eating delicious food and basking in the sun. Her famous scone will be missed by all who have partaken.

 Kathleen is survived by her three sons, Edward (Pat), Stephen (Helen) and Timothy (Misha), sister, Eileen, grandchildren Stephen, Briege, Sean, and Matthew, four great grandchildren and innumerable nieces and nephews.

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, July 18 beginning at 10 AM and Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Joseph Church on Woodlawn Ave, Collingdale, followed by inurnment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield.
