Kathleen Rick

Kathleen Rick, née Degges, born on October 2, 1937, completed her beautiful life journey on May 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, strength, and devotion that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Rick; her brother, Edward Degges (Billy); her cherished granddaughter, Courtney Moore (Clint); and her sons-in-law, Dale Menard and Joseph Sanders. She is lovingly survived by her siblings, Sandra Rinaldi, Judy Boswell (Curtis), Ronald Degges (Deneise), Robert Degges (Debbie), and Vickie Frye (Billy); and her daughters, Debbie Menard, Sherry Sanders, and Dottie Goudie.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Carrie Wiemer (Robby), Jessica Campo, Christy Watson (Jeff), Kyle Sanders (Tara), and Kelsey Goudie (Justin). Kathleen’s greatest joy was her growing family, and she was deeply loved by her great-grandchildren: Cassie, Callie, Ryleigh, Kendyll, Brody, Connor, Keeleigh, Tesa, Cheyenne, and Wyatt.

Kathleen will be fondly remembered for her witty personality, quick sense of humor, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures — especially her trips to the casino, where she loved trying her luck and sharing laughter with family and friends. Her warmth, spirited nature, and unwavering love for her family will be treasured always, and her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
