Kathleen P. McFadden

Kathleen P. McFadden, (née Catherine Kilcoyne), age 88, of Sewell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on October 24, 2026. Born on the family farm in Kilgariff, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Mary Kate Roach and Patrick Kilcoyne.

At just 18 years old, Kathleen bravely left Kilgariff, Ireland, and traveled alone to America to join relatives in New York. Not long after arriving, she met the love of her life at a dance in Philadelphia. Kathleen married Charles on May 6, 1961, at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Philadelphia, beginning a life together and building their family.

Kathleen was known for her gentle soul, giving heart, and Irish spirit. She possessed a special Irish sparkle that was entirely her own, with quirky mannerisms, a mischievous little smile, and a twinkle in her eye that could brighten any room. She especially enjoyed playing Sudoku, watching The Lawrence Welk Show with her grandchildren, and taking long strolls along the boardwalk with her family.

Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. McFadden; loving mother of Paul J. McFadden, David F. McFadden, and Neil P. McFadden (Michelle); adoring grandmother Of Catherine E. McFadden, Christina M. McFadden, and Stephen J. McFadden; caring sister of Mary "Marian" Patricia Snee, John "J.P." Patrick Kilcoyne, and the late Thomas J. Kilcoyne.

Family and friends are invited to attend Kathleen's Visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
