Kathleen M. "Kay" LaFountain

Kathleen “Kay” M. LaFountain (née Dorsett), 86, of Delaware County, PA passed away on March 24, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Born in 1936, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Frank and Catherine (née Gantz) Dorsett.

Kay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved going to the beach with her family, especially to North Wildwood, NJ.

Kay was an exceptional cook and a talented cake decorator. She was an award winning Bunka embroiderer and loved to crochet.

Kay was the beloved wife, for 63 years, of the late Robert M. LaFountain Sr; loving mother of Robert Jr. (Lauren), Dawn Twardowski (Steve) and the late Debbie Ubaldini; devoted grandmother of Eric Ubaldini, Ashley Blei (Joe), Kaitlyn Reigle (Jon), Ryan LaFountain (Alyssa), Andrew LaFountain (Waleska), Christopher Twardowski and the late Alex Twardowski (Lauren); proud great-grandmother of Vienna Blei, Zoey Blei, Chase LaFountain, Brayden LaFountain and Cody Reigle; dear sister of Helen Walton (the late Bill) and Joseph Dorsett (Christa).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 9:00-10:15 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA and to her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Church, 615 E. Springfield Rd, Springfield, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
