Kathleen M. "Kathy" Golden

Kathleen M. "Kathy" Golden passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, at age the age of 78, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, compassion, and immeasurable impact on the lives she touched. Born on May 10, 1948, Kathy’s life was marked by her unwavering dedication to others and her heartfelt connections, both in her family and her community.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (née Welsh) Golden.

Kathy was a proud graduate of Immaculata University, where she earned her master’s degree. Her passion for learning and growth naturally led her to a career in education. She devoted many years to working at St. Katherine School in Wynnewood, PA, where she served as an inspiring force for her students. Kathy had a particularly special commitment to her students with special needs, forging deep, meaningful relationships not only with the children she taught but also with their parents. Her kindness, patience, and steadfast advocacy made her an adored and respected member of the school community.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kathy was deeply cherished by her family. Her closest friend and confidant was her brother, Francis, with whom she shared a strong and loving bond. She found great joy and companionship in the lives of her three nieces and one nephew, who remember her with fondness, gratitude, and admiration.

Kathy was the loving sister of Francis Golden, the caring aunt of Francis Golden, Jr., Denise Golden, Charlotte Golden, and Christine Golden. She was the dear friend of Mary Reid, Eileen Stricker, and Caroline McGill, and is predeceased by her cousin, Peg Flynn.

Relatives and friends are invited to honor Kathy at a Visitation on Monday, July 6, 2026, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass commencing at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
