Kathleen Helen Ciampi

Kathleen Helen (nee Baines) Ciampi, passed away May 25, 2024.  Beloved daughter of the late Edmond and Kathryn (nee Williams) Baines.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband Louis Ciampi; Children, Michelle Nolan (Bob), Stephanie Pagano (Frank), Louis Ciampi Jr; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.  She was predeceased by her dear son Christopher Ciampi; Siblings, Edmond Baines (Mary) and Linda Schalleur (Walter); her 2 precious grandchildren Arielle and Eric, as well as, her 2 Pekingese dogs, Mitzi and Buffy.

Family was everything to Kathleen.  She ensured every holiday and birthday was the biggest celebration one could imagine.   Kathleen made sure every decoration, every gift, and every meal was perfection. You always felt loved whether you were a part of her precious family or closest friend.

Kathleen met Louis at their First Holy Communion and years later met again at their 9th grade dance in his powder blue pants with a skinny belt and said “look at Louie!” and they were together ever since. He would be the love of her life.

Along with her dear Lou, children, and many family and friends, Kathleen had many other loves and if you knew Kathleen, you knew that SHOPPING was the second love of her life.   

Kathleen loved going to the Jersey shore for her summers, especially their Motel in North Wildwood, The Stingray. Spending summers down at the shore, visiting her son in California, visiting her favorite restaurants, Kathleen always brought joy and love wherever she was.  Although she will be dearly missed, she will live in our hearts forever.

Relatives and friends are invited to Kathleen’s Viewing Monday, June 3 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
