June P. Stafford

June Stafford, 65, of Honey Brook, PA passed away, surrounded by her beloved husband and children, on November 18, 2022.

June graduated from Bishop Shanahan High School in 1975. Her love for learning, which she passed on to her children, never decreased and she attended courses and remained a voracious reader throughout her life. After high school, she explored her love of food and hosting by working as a cook before joining her father in the family business, Polito Brothers Ceramic Tile.

June met her husband, Glenn, at The Tavern in Malvern, PA in 1979. After several attempts by Glenn, she relented and they were married at St. Peter and Paul Church in West Chester in 1981. Her son, Matthew, was born in 1983 and  her daughter, Suzanne, followed in 1986.

June spent her life as a successful business owner, with she and Glenn taking over Polito Brothers for her father, but most importantly she was an amazing mother to her children and wife to her husband. Her curiosity, good nature, sense of humor, and optimism in the face of adversity touched all those around her, making all who knew her better for it.

Through the many Christmas parties, summer parties, birthdays and other holidays held at the Stafford house, all who knew her experienced June’s life-long love of cooking and passion for bringing people together in celebration. She also enjoyed spending her time putting together puzzles and beating her family in their annual domino games.

She is survived by her husband Glenn Stafford; daughter Suzanne (Stafford) Seifert; son-in-law, Joe Seifert; son, Matthew Stafford;  sister, Jane Marks; and brother, Steve Polito.

She was preceded by her mother, Lorraine (Lutz) Polito, and her father, Louis Polito.

A memorial service will be held 9:00-11:00 AM Monday, November 28, 2022 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester,  PA 19382 followed by a Memorialization Service 11:00 AM. Interment St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1040 Chestnut Tree Road, Honey Brook, PA 19344.

The family requests that all flowers and notes be sent to the Funeral Home. A wake will follow at the family home.
