Judy

Judith “Judy” Marie Miller, 76, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on July 31, 2026.

Born in Chelsea, MA in 1949, Judy was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Mary Elizabeth (née Markus) Pavelko.

Judy was the loving mother of Geoffrey Matthew Miller; sister of Mary Jean Pavelko Snyder, Terry Grey, Mark Pavelko, Carl Pavelko, and brothers-in-law David Snyder and Rob Grey. She was aunt to Zhanna Pavelko Snyder, Danny Grey, and Emma Grey. She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Pavelko, Jr.

Judy was a devout Catholic and enjoyed spending her time attending Mass, praying the rosary, reading spiritual books, and visiting Catholic shrines, i.e., National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and National Shrine for Padre Pio. She was a long-time member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Newtown Square, PA. As a music lover, Judy enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music and attending concerts and musicals with her family. She loved animals, and was a “kitty” mom for many years. She spent time at her local animal shelter in recent years providing companionship to rescue cats. In her younger years, Judy traveled with her family and lived in Hawaii, Samoa, England, and many states throughout the US. She received a full scholarship to Rosemont College in Bryn Mawr, PA, majoring in English Literature.

Judy was dedicated to supporting those in need by contributing to many charities, such as St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org, Shriners Children’s Hospital, https://www.shrinershospitalforchildren.org and the ASPCA.

The services and interment are private by family.
