Beloved wife of the late Harry Modica. Beloved Mother of Joanne Calabria, deceased (James), Dolores Morgan (Andrew, deceased) and Marilyn Crocetti Skinner, deceased.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Benita Minissa of Philadelphia, Pa. Sister of Albert Minissa (Ida), Sylvia Bucciarelli, deceased and Norma Di Francesco, deceased and cousin of Jean Sciasci. She lost 2 brothers Albert and Joseph very early in their lives. She leaves 10 grandchildren: Deborah Morgan Thompson, James Calabria, Andrew Morgan, Joseph Crocetti, David Calabria, Nina McNichol, Todd Morgan, Glen Calabria, Amy Crocetti Young and Michael Crocetti ; 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Josephine was born and raised in South Philadelphia and later resided with her family in Havertown and Broomall, Pa. She worked as a pattern maker and designer for woman's clothing.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018
from 9 to 10 am followed by mass at St. Piux X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, Pa. 19008.
