Josephine Mazzella

Josephine E. “Jo” Mazzella (nee Halstead), age 96, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA passed away on May 29, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. Halstead and Anna Mae Halstead Bruhy (nee Henderson).

Jo was a very active member of her Church, Llanerch Hills Chapel, especially the choir. Jo started a 90’s club for people 90 and above from her church or other groups which she ran for 10 plus years. She attended specialty schooling to become a mechanical draftsman. Jo was a wonderful housewife who raised her 5 children whom she loved dearly.

Jo was the loving wife of the late Thomas A. Mazzella; devoted mother of Thomas F. Mazzella (Terri), Joan M. Lordan, Armand J. Mazzella (Carolyn), Allan J. Mazzella (Patricia), and Elizabeth A. Seggern (Jeff); adoring grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; beloved sister of the late Lois M. Naylor (Raymond). Also survived by her half siblings James D. Albright and Suzanne Oliver.
