Josephine Ludovico

Josephine(Mitrione)Ludovico, of West Chester, PA became an angel on October 29, 2021.  Born on May 26, 1932, she was the daughter of Michael and Concetta(Fierro) Mitrione.  At the age of 16 she met the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Louis, to whom she was married for 70 loving years.  Together they raised four children.

In addition to her husband, Josephine is survived by her children; Valerie Ludovico, Denise Daniels, and William Ludovico(Donna), and daughter-in-law Judy.  She was the adored grandmother of Kimberly Greer(Kevin), Jeffrey Daniels, Concetta Gorr(Michael),

Gregory Daniels(fiancée Francesca), Daniel Ludovico(Kari), Christina Ludovico, and Cara Ludovico, and great grandmother of Kaylee and Kiera Greer, Carter Gorr, and Colton Ludovico.  She was pre-deceased by her son, Louis, Jr., her brothers Tony, Frank, and Vito, and her sister, Angie.

Josephine was devoted to God.  She loved times spent with family and friends.  She was a gourmet cook, enjoyed gardening, crafting, playing Mahjong, reading, and doing crossword puzzles.  She was the greatest example of motherhood, true love and marriage, and selflessness.  We will forever miss her, her delicious Italian food, the wonderful conversations, the birthday songs sung to us each year, and all the special  family traditions passed down through the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 11:00 AM-12:30 PM, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at SS. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM.  Interment Monday, 11:00 AM, November 8, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
