Joseph Scholes

Joseph Scholes, age 70, of Wayne, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Beloved husband of Sharon Reardon; dear father of J. Greer Scholes (Heather), Molly Lowe (Todd) and Katherine Scholes; step-father of Michaela Reardon and Timothy Reardon (Leslie); loving brother of Judy Sovinski and Lucy Bottomley (Donald). He is survived by three grandchildren Greer Scholes, George Scholes and Benjamin Lowe and three step-grandchildren Leslie Reardon, John Reardon and Maeve Reardon.
Joseph was a graduate of Frankford High School, the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science and earned an MBA from Drexel University. He was a teacher of business and accounting at Radnor High School for forty years and an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University for thirty-five years. He was a lifelong member of the Island Heights Yacht Club in New Jersey. A man who had a take charge, can-do approach to life, he loved sailing and boating on the Toms River in New Jersey, gardening, cooking and working on projects of all sorts. Joe's Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Friday, March 16 at 11:00AM at The
Church of the Redeemer, 230 Pennswood Road, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
