Joseph J. Roll

Joseph J. Roll, 76, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on February 21, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1946, Joseph was the son of the late Emil Roll and Ellen Smith.

Joseph was the beloved husband of Sandra L. (née Niglio) Roll; loving father of Dena M. Canavin (Matt); proud grandfather of Dean M. Canavin; dear brother of Freddy Roll, Jimmy Roll (Joyce), Joanne Dougherty, Cassie Beach and Delores Giordano (Lenny).

Joseph was a South Philadelphia resident for his entire life and worked as a pipefitter at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.

He was an avid sports fan, who also enjoyed Motown music, old Western movies and playing card games.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 1718 S. 9^th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
