Joseph V. Otto, age 63, of West Chester, PA, passed away on February 10, 2018.
Born in Darby, PA to the late James Edwin and Eileen (nee Doherty) Otto. Joe graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in 1972 and LaSalle University in 1976.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara Otto (nee Schearer). Dear father of Joseph Vincent Otto III, Kate Otto and Dan Otto (Chantelle). Loving grandfather of Daniel Otto. Brother of Jim Otto (Dottie), Eileen Otto, Kevin Otto (Grace) and Peggy Watson (Don). Joseph is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joe was the long time business manager at William Penn School District and active member of Delaware Valley Association of School Business Officials (DVASBO) for thirty-five years.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation Thursday, February 15th from 7:00-9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA and Friday, February 16th from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester, PA, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to the Joe Otto DVASBO Scholarship c/o the Chester County Intermediate Unit (455 Boot Road, Downingtown, PA 19335).
