Joseph P. McGinnis

Joseph "Joe" P. McGinnis, 86, of Lima, PA passed away on June 16, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1937, he was the son of the late Michael McGinnis from County Donegal, Ireland and Julia (née Mullarkey) McGinnis from County Mayo, Ireland.

He served honorably in the US Army and worked in Collections in the Banking industry.

Joe was a huge Notre Dame Football fan and loved all Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles, Phillies and Sixers. He also enjoyed going to the movies.

Joe was the loving father of Joseph M. McGinnis (Meghan) and Matthew McGinnis (Germaine); proud grandfather of Joseph, Conor, Callie, James and Liam. He was predeceased by Jack McGinnis, Michael McGinnis and Margaret McGinnis.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
