Joseph M. Buckley, Jr.

Joseph M. “Joe” Buckley, Jr., 60, of Spotsylvania, VA, born and raised in Upper Darby, PA, he also called Brea, CA; Tooele, UT; and Kent Island, MD home over the years, passed away on December 23, 2025.

Born in Upper Darby, PA in 1965, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Jean (Detro) Buckley. He was a loving Husband of his wife Jeannie for 33 years prior to her passing on May 21, 2025.

Joe had a deep love for Philadelphia sports and was a devoted fan of the Eagles and the Phillies, loyally cheering them on through every season. Later in life, he found great enjoyment in thrifting and uncovering hidden treasures, which he proudly gave as gifts or sold on eBay and at the local flea market. He especially loved the excitement of connecting with people and sharing stories through these experiences.

Christmas was his favorite time of year, and he truly went above and beyond to make the holiday magical for his family. From thoughtful gifts to festive traditions, he took great joy in creating lasting memories and bringing everyone together. His passions, generosity, and love for his family will be remembered always.

Joe was the loving father of Amber Buckley, Joey Buckley (Mallory), and Melody Buckley; grandfather of Baker Buckley; and brother of Julie Buckley. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeannie Buckley and brother Tom Perry.
