Joseph E. Angelo

Joseph E. Angelo, loving dedicated Husband, cherished Father & beloved Grandfather, passed away suddenly at the age of 85. Born in Hazleton PA he moved to Delaware, County after high school where he lived with his dearest wife Betty of 58 years and raised 4 daughters.

Employed as a partner and sales executive at Roddy Products Packaging Company for 63 years, he transitioned the company when they became part of the bigger family, Argo Turboserve Corp in 2020. He continued as an advisor there while also consulting for General Aire Systems over the last 26 years never fully retiring from both.

He was a member of St. Madeline's Parish for 59 years, an avid golfer and 45 year member of Rolling Green Golf Club, but slowed down to weekly gin rummy games and trips to the casino in between work after his wife passed away in 2018.

He loved the Phillies, Eagles, PGA Golf and picking Maryland Crabs but was happiest spending time with his family including 5 Grandsons & 3 Granddaughters who texted him often and were heartbroken over the sudden loss.

Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Matisak) Angelo, son of the late Joseph & Marie (nee Ent) Angelo & half brother of the late Ralph Crossley. He is survived by his loving daughters Lisa Newsham (Tom), Lori Fanelli (Robert), Marie Shafer (Mark) & Kristine Borchert (Duane). Joseph is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Tom Jr & Maggie Newsham, Thomas Fanelli (Bonnie), Mark Fanelli (Lucy), Lauren & Cole Shafer and Heather & Matt Borchert.
