Joseph Benton Allen, III., 86, of West Chester, PA, passed away March 27, 2022.
Born April 13, 1935 in Haverford, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph B., Jr., and Marie (nee Johnson) Allen.
Joe was an avid reader and history buff. He was a railroad enthusiast and took special interest in the Pennsylvania Rail Road. He was a true family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a classic dry sense of humor and his favorite past time of enjoying a cup of coffee, a cigarette and a good book.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Coletti) Allen; loving father of Joseph B. IV. (Cynthia) Allen and Elizabeth M. Allen; and adoring grandfather of Melissa Marquardt and Joseph B. Allen, V.
