John Vincent “Jack” Wisgo a 30-year resident of Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, sadly passed away suddenly on March 31, 2026, at the age of 90.

Born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Walter and Rose (née Rouse). Jack proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Jack will be always be remembered for his beautiful smile, sense of humor, kindness, and quiet strength.

Jack is survived by his loving children, Anne Wisgo Maylish(the late Joseph), Denise McCrae (David), Jack Wisgo, as well as his dear grandchildren, David, Kyle, Zachary, Laurie and Ryan. He is also survived by his beloved partner of 23 years, Claudette Truesdale.

Graveside services were held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Pompano Beach to honor Jack’s life.

Jack truly enjoyed life and those he loved. His warmth, humor, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
