John P. Sheppard, of West Chester, PA formerly of Springfield passed away, peacefully, on August 5, 2013 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Ralph F. Sheppard and the late Marie McGonigle.
John was a member of SS Peter & Paul Church.
He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing and spending time in Ocean City, NJ.
In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by his daughters Kimberly and Maryjo Anderson and his grandson, Cody Sachs to whom he was a father figure and for whom he lived, his sister, Susan Franco of Coatesville, Karen Rippon of Havertown and Barbara Gallagher (Patrick) of Springfield as well as many nieces and nephews.
