John Joseph "Jake" Quinlan

John Joseph “Jake” Quinlan, age 85, of Havertown, PA, passed away on January 16, 2023.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Ann Quinlan (nee Keegan). 

Jake was a veteran of the National Guard.   He had been employed as a Union Steamfitter with Local 420. 

Jake enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  He was a golfer and loved the horses. 

Jake was predeceased by his beloved wife, Gale C. Quinlan (nee Christiansen).  He was the loving father of Dori Braithwaite (Trey) and the late Mark Quinlan.  Dear grandfather of Quin, Christian, Charlie, Jake and Ivy.  Brother of the late Gerry Quinlan (Margie).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his daughter-in-law Erinn Riley.  

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 11:30 AM.  Interment is private.
