John O'Donnell, Sr.

John F. "Jack" O'Donnell, Sr., age 85, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on August 7, 2018.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and Jeannette O'Donnell (nee Thompson).



Jack was a graduate of West Catholic Boys High School in Philadelphia, PA.

He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War era.

He was employed as an Electrician with the B&O Railroad.

Jack had also been employed as a Sacristan at St. Laurence Church in Upper Darby, PA.



In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by his siblings Kitty McMullen, Sr. Theresa O'Donnell, William O'Donnell and Joseph O'Donnell.



He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary J. O'Donnell (nee Lawler), his loving children John F. O'Donnell, Jr. (Feryn) and Joseph P. O'Donnell (Kathy), his grandchildren Ronnie Ann O'Donnell-Behrle, John O'Donnell, Sean O'Donnell and Morgan O'Donnell and his great-grandchild Sterling Behrle.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday, August 11, 2018 9:15-10:15 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.

Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
