John Anthony Moyer

John “Fat Jack” Anthony Moyer, 61, of West Chester, PA, passed away suddenly on September 11, 2026.

Born in Upper Darby, John was the son of Irene Marie (née Collins) and the late Charles Russel Moyer.

In addition to his mother, Jack is survived by his siblings; Joe Moyer (Maggie) Jim Moyer (Tracey) Jere Moyer (Kristen) and Jennifer Washkalavitch (Joe); and his nieces and nephews, Marjorie (Jake), Lindsay, Emily, Natalie, Nicole, Kian, Liana, and Chas.

He was predeceased by his father and friend, Charles Moyer; his grandparents, Eugene and Marjorie Cahalan, and sister, Marjorie Moyer.

Jack loved the Jersey shore and fishing. He enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and cheering them on. He was most proud of his nieces and nephews and would brag about them to anyone who would listen. He had their pictures on his wall, fridge, and wallet.

Jack’s family wants to acknowledge Jerome and Hope Clary, his neighbors and friends, who treated him like family.

Family and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM, Friday, September 18, 2026 and to his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 233 West Gay St, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Agnes Day Room, at the above address, where Jack was welcomed every day and loved the community there.
