In loving memory of John J. Kelly Jr. originally from Clifton Heights, PA, affectionally known to all as “Jack”, peacefully passed away on January 10, 2023.  Jack was a long-time resident of Delaware County having worked as a bartender for more than 60 years and served as a Director at Fair Acres in Lima, PA.  He was a National Guardsman and a Tin Can Sailor in the United States Navy, notably a seaman on the USS Yellowstone (AD27).  An avid golfer, he had the privilege of playing at prestigious golf courses like Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach, and St. Andrews in Scotland.  He is pre-deceased by his wife, Gerry (Capuzzi) Kelly, his son Jeremiah (Jerry) News, and his sisters Ann (Kelly) Smith and Ruth (Kelly) Blesz.  He is survived by his sisters Linda (Byron) Henry (Kenneth) and Paula (Kelly) Starinieri, his daughters Chelsea (Hagerty) Hallahan (Sean) and Cindy (Carter) Becker (Christopher), and his grandchildren Zachary, Nicholas, Killian, McKinley, Melinda (News) Sokolik (Dimitri) and Ryan News (Nicole), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday January 19th from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, PA 19070 followed by his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church 208 Milmont Ave. Folsom, PA 19033. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
