John Holback

John P. Holback, 92, of West Chester, PA passed away on November 28, 2021.

Born in Yonkers, NY in 1929, he was the son of the late George and Albertina Agnes (née Witechney) Holback.

He served proudly in the US Navy during the Korean War. John was a graduate of Loyola University, Maryland and New York University. He worked 42 years as a Chemical Engineer for DuPont.

John was the beloved husband of Margaret E. (née Mirra) Holback; loving father of John P. Holback, Raymond L. Holback, Teresa M. Holback and Beth A. Olmsted (Charles); also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-granchildren. Predeceased by siblings; George E., Adele, Carl, Vincent, Frances and Edward N.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, December 4, 2021 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the St. Agnes Day Room, 233 West Gay St, West Chester, PA 19380.
