John Milton Hays, Jr.

John Milton Hays Jr. (“Jay”) formerly of West Chester, PA died from complications of pneumonia on January 16, 2023 at the age of 82.

Jay attended Haverford Preparatory School and graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy in 1958.

He was an avid sportsman and had an overall love of the outdoors. He was charitable and active in his community.

Jay is survived by his three children; John M Hays, III (Betsy) of Evergreen, CO, Christina Hays Nash (Jim) of Centennial, CO and Andrew D. Hays (Heather) of Wilmington DE; and his seven grandchildren, Morgan Hays, Jack Hays, Katie Hays, Hays Nash, Grayson Nash, Keelin Hays and Peyton Hays.

A private celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of Donor's Choice.
