John P. Dreger

John P. Dreger, age 64, of Upper Darby, PA passed away June 9, 2022. Born in Drexel Hill, PA he was the son of the late John and Angeline (nee Ferretti) Dreger.

John was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and worked as an auto mechanic. He loved riding his 1993 Harley-Davidson 1200 Sportster Motorcycle and challenging himself everyday working to solve problems on automobiles. John loved his cross country adventure out west with his friends. He also loved the mountains and camping with his wife Deborah. Some of their favorite places included the Susquehanna Mountains, Cape May Point, Hospitality Creek, and San Miguel, Mexico. John was an avid sports fan and had a love for baseball. He enjoyed playing and was an all-star pitcher. John was a quiet guy but had a wonderful sense of humor, he loved all kinds of music and watching Western movies. John was a loving, kind, and giving man and each day he would say “Thank you for another day of living.”

John was the loving husband to Deborah A. Dreger. He is survived by his siblings Diane Dreger, Jacquelyn Ferretti (Robert), and Isabel Cogliati (Norman). John is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister the late Joanne Howard.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Friday June 17, 2022, 9:30 – 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
