John Charles Burrichter, age 62, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on April 4, 2024. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Eleanor Burrichter (nee Heineman).
John dedicated his career to working as a mechanic on Landscaping Equipment for the Niemeyer Corporation until he retired, leaving a legacy of hard work and commitment. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were admired by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Beyond his professional endeavors, John found joy in various hobbies and interests. He was an avid fan of Philadelphia Sports Teams and NASCAR, finding excitement and camaraderie in cheering for his favorite teams. John's love extended beyond sports to his cherished cats, who brought him comfort and companionship throughout the years.
John was a longtime resident of Drexel Hill. He was a man of unwavering loyalty and held dear the bonds he formed with his many lifelong friendships from kindergarten and up. He was known for his humor and kindness to all who were fortunate to know him.
John was the beloved husband of Sandy Burrichter (nee Shaub), whose love and support sustained him throughout their 29 years of marriage. Caring brother of Joe Burrichter (Cheryl), Mary McLaughlan (John), Regina Cochran (Dave), and Chuck Burrichter (Diana). Loving uncle of Matthew, Ann, Steve, Michael, Jennifer, Laura, Lisa, Nicole, Ashleigh, and Katie.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Interment Private.
