John Burke, Jr.

John F. Burke, Jr., age 36, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on January 3, 2022.   Born in Fort Walton Beach, FL, he was the son of John F. Burke, Sr. and Rosita E. Burke (nee Enriquez).

John had been employed as a Police Officer with Clifton Heights Police Department for 9 years.

He was a hardworking man who loved snowboarding and spending time with family and friends.   He loved being a father and would drop everything to help anyone, regardless if he knew them or not.   He had a sense of humor that would light up a room and was always quick with a sarcastic remark.  He wouldn’t turn away the occasional Scotch and cigar if offered to him.

In addition to his parents, John is survived by his loving wife, Amy Burke (nee Carotenuto), his son Caedmon J. Burke, and their expected child.  Dear brother of Debra L. Burke (Mark Amadio), Theresa M. Payne (Christopher) and Michelle Burke (Julio Arreaga).  Also survived by his paternal grandmother, Bernadette L. Burke, One Aunt and Two Uncles.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, January 10, 2022 6:00-8:00 PM and Tuesday, January 11, 2022 8:30-9:45 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Laurence Lower Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.   Interment will be private.
