Joanne Crimmins Koegler, age 87, of Wayne, PA, passed away on October 28, 2026.
Joanne was the beloved wife of the late John T. Koegler. Loving mother of Amy M. Koegler Pascali (Michael), John P. Koegler (Alicia), Michael P. Koegler, and Kathleen K. Van Arsdalen (Darin). Adoring grandmother of Andrew, Harrison, Eliana, John L., and Luella. She was predeceased by her parents, Marie Madeline (nee Keeney) and Joseph M. Crimmins, Sr., and her siblings, Joseph M. Crimmins, Jr. and Marie M. Crimmins.
Joanne was born in Norristown, PA, and graduated from Villa Maria Academy and Immaculata College. The friendships she formed there were deeply important to her, and she treasured her monthly luncheons and visits with dear friends until her passing.
Joanne spent most of her career as a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway’s Devon office, where her colleagues became like family. She loved her time in the office, especially mentoring young agents and forming lasting friendships with the many people in that office.
Giving back was also an important part of Joanne’s life. She volunteered at the Arc of Chester County in West Chester and was honored with the Ruth Wood Award for Philanthropy in 2013. She also loved volunteering at Finding Shelter Animal Rescue in Norristown, where she adopted two of her beloved dogs.
Above all, Joanne treasured her grandchildren. Affectionately known as “Grammi,” she shared a unique and special relationship with each of them. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she delighted in traditions with her grandchildren, from pictures with Santa to the large Santa bags of gifts she lovingly prepared for them each year.
Family and friends are invited to Joanne’s Viewing from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave, Wayne, PA 19087, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Villanova, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Joanne Koegler to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to benefit Research. CHOP Foundation, P.O. Box 781352, Phila., PA 19178. Donations may also be made online www.chop.edu/giving and be sure to check the box, ‘Dedicate my donation in honor or memory of someone’.
