Joanna Bowman

Joanna D. Bowman, 78, of West Chester, PA, passed away on August 30, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE in 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Jennie (nee Zabowski) Doberstein. Joanna was a graduate of the University of Delaware. She was an actress and was active in the theatre where she met her husband, Ted. Together they traveled the world and had dreams of one day moving to South Africa.

Joanna was the beloved wife of 40 years to Teddy Joe Bowman; loving mother of Tim Porreca (Daria); caring grandmother of Tim Porreca, Jr. and Sydney Porreca.

Relatives and friends are invited to a casual celebration of Joanna’s life at Tim & Daria's residence on Saturday, September 4, 2021 beginning at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380, would be appreciated.
