Joan Harper Long

Joan Harper Long (nee Lyster), age 92, of Coatesville, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on May 21, 2025.

Born in Darby, PA in 1932, Joan was the daughter of the late Walter James and Mildred (nee Harper) Lyster. She enjoyed gardening, going to the shore, reading, and playing solitaire. Joan was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family.

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Phillip J. Long; loving mother of Charmaine Cheryl Bullard, Edward Walter Neff (Wendy), Nanci Louise Neff (Glenn Hoopes), Susanne Blair (Steven), and Joan Marie Rogers (Bill); caring grandmother of Dylan Hoopes, Sarah Katherine Corso (Matthew), Katelyn Rogers, Billy Rogers (Heidi), and the late Christopher Neff and great-grandmother of Sophia Rogers.

Services and interment are private.
