Joan Elizabeth Goldhorn

Joan Elizabeth Goldhorn (nee Wallace), age 94, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday June 20, 2025. 

She was born in her South Philadelphia home to the late Francis and Cecilia Wallace (nee Healy). 

Joan was the beloved wife of the late Watson Thompson Goldhorn (Goldie). She is survived by her children, Donna Goldhorn (Bob German), Thomas Goldhorn (Kim), Janice Geraghty (Jim), James Goldhorn (Margaret), Robert Goldhorn (Mary Jo), Suzanne Zampino (Zip) Joan is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. 

She was a devoted parishioner of St Andrew’s for 59 years. She was dedicated to her family and quietly helped the underdog. She loved spending time with her family in Sea Isle where she would read the latest Danielle Steel books on her deck, go to Springers in Stone harbor for ice cream and on Saturday’s visiting an Atlantic City casino with Goldie to play the slots. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass 10:30 am on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at St Andrew’s Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment is Private.
