Joan Golden

Joan Golden, age 69, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away suddenly on April 29, 2023.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Ruth M. (née Inge) Golden.

Joan was employed as an Account Manager in the financial industry.  Joan first worked at the Insurance Company in downtown NYC. She started at Interactive Data in 1978 as an administrator in the Securities Product Division. Joan quickly became an integral part of the sales team, helping forecast sales and renewals. She was promoted to Account Manager and was the Manager of Sales Administration upon her retirement in 2014. Joan was the anchor of the sales department and was well respected for her insightful skills.

Joan was the most loving and caring person to all the people in her life. During her personal time, she loved to read and collect books. She collected tea pots and cherished her collection. She was an avid Beatles fan. Joan was very artistic and loved to do crafts, ceramics, and was open to trying new projects all the time. She also loved going to wineries, doing wine tastings, and enjoyed several trips to the Finger Lakes.  Joan loved spending time with her family and friends and will always be cherished by them all.

Joan was the loving mother to Stacie Tattersdill (Thomas) and devoted grandmother to Aaron Tattersdill. She is also survived by her dear cousins, Monica A.. Rossick (Robert), Bernard F. Coley (Jane), Loretta F. Grimaldi (Peter), and Ruth F. Falkenstein (Jack). She was the beloved aunt to John J. Falkenstein, Ruth A. Falkenstein, Daniel J. Falkenstein, Elizabeth Rossick Jakubek, Paul Rossick, Megan Coley Halinan and Kevin Coley and also so many friends and former colleagues.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Saturday, May 6, 2023, 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment private.
