Joan Gibson
February 24, 1934 — February 24, 2021
Joan passed away on June 28th, at the age of 87. She was married to Charles H. for 67 years this past May.
Joan has three children; Deborah Lee (Evans), Robert Charles, (Wife Donna) and Nancy E. (Swope); 2 grandchildren, Howard and Colleen and 4 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Hannah, Bella and Michael.
She was an avid knitter and quilter, making baby clothes, socks and many large quilts.
She was a devoted member of St. Giles Church in Upper Darby and Incarnation Holy Sacrament Church in Drexel Hill. Joan served on the Vestry, Altar Guild and assisted with Accounting.
Her family is grateful for the care she received at her life’s end from Keystone Villa in Douglassville and Seasons Hospice in Norristown.
