Jill V. Leaman of Wayne, PA, passed away on May 6, 2025 after courageously battling cancer for over a year. She was born on April 13, 1946, to the late John Russell Leaman and Edith Leaman (née Buckwalter).
Jill’s faith was very important to her and she was a member of the Wayne Presbyterian Church. She spent the majority of her career working as a legal secretary for Delaney & Scott in Westtown, PA. She was an avid reader and could always be counted on to share her favorite books with others. Jill loved watching and cheering on her Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles! She also enjoyed going to the Jersey shore, especially Cape May and Wildwood Crest. Jill’s passion and love of life were apparent in all she did. This was reflected in her love of family and friends, as well as her love of animals, especially her precious cat Buddy. When Jill made friends, they were friends for life. Her heart was so big and she always gave the best hugs!
She is survived by her lifelong friend, Jeanne Swanson; two nieces, Kelly J. McGinley (Jim) and their sons, Riley and Casey, and Julie Radel (Paul) and their daughter, Brooke; as well as her sister-in-law, Jeannie Leaman.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack C. Leaman.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m., at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA 19087.
