Jeanette Sabbia Marie Minton

Jeanette Sabbia Marie Minton (née Vizzarri), a devoted teacher, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. She was 94 years old.

Born in 1931 in Chester, Pennsylvania, Jeanette was a proud graduate of Holy Savior in Linwood, PA, Notre Dame de Namur High School in Moylan, PA, and later, lmmaculata College in Immaculata, PA. Her passion for education led her to a fulfilling career as a teacher at both Notre Dame (Moylan) and St. Pius X in Broomall, where she was also a longtime parishioner.

Jeanette was the beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Minton, Jr. Together, they raised a family built on love and strong values. She was the loving mother of three children: the late Maryanne D. Minton (Phipps), Thomas F. Minton, lll, and Christopher P. Minton. She was a loving mother-in-law to the late Gary Phipps, Kelly Minton (Wlliams), and Leslie Minton (Cruciani).

A true matriarch, Jeanette found immense joy in her family. She was a doting grandmother to Michael Phipps (North Carolina), Thomas F. Minton, lV, Kevin P. Minton, Matthew E. Minton, and Daniel C. Minton. She also had a cherished granddaughter- in-law, Emily Minton (Labbe), and three beautiful great-grandchildren: Vivienne Mary Minton, Molly Rose Minton, and Thomas F. Minton, V.

Known for her kindness and gentle spirit, Jeanette was an accomplished musician, painter, and an avid reader who loved learning. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a tireless mother, and a grandmother who always had a book in her hand and a smile on her face. Her legacy of love and intellectual curiosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to honor her memory at a Visitation on Thursday, October 2, 2025, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass commencing at 10:00 AM. Interment thereafter at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
